A1 — Lesson 104: Weekend stories (Listening)

Unidad 8: Pasado simple.

1️⃣ Story model — Tom’s weekend

Last weekend, Tom was very busy. On Saturday morning, he got up early and had breakfast with his family. Then he went to the park with his little sister. They played football and took a lot of photos. In the afternoon, Tom visited his grandparents. They were happy because he brought some fresh bread and fruit. They talked, watched a movie and had dinner together. On Sunday, Tom stayed at home. He did his homework and cleaned his room. In the evening, he listened to music and played video games for one hour. At night he was tired, but he was very happy.
last weekend on Saturday morning in the afternoon on Sunday in the evening at night

Fíjate en los verbos en pasado: was, were, got up, had, went, played, took, visited, talked, watched, stayed, did, cleaned, listened, was.

2️⃣ Listening — Comprehension check

1) What did Tom do on Saturday morning?

2) Where did Tom go with his little sister?

3) How did his grandparents feel?

4) What did Tom do on Sunday?

5) How was Tom at night on Sunday?

3️⃣ Writing — Your last weekend

1) Sentence with “Last weekend...”
2) Sentence with “On Saturday...” or “On Sunday...”
3) Final feeling “At night I was...” / “On Sunday night I was...”

Sugerencia: une tus oraciones con then, after that, finally.
