A1 — Lesson 39: Reading — My typical day

My name is Emma. I live with my sister in a small apartment. On weekdays, I wake up at 6:30 a.m.. I usually take a quick shower, get dressed, and have breakfast at 7:00—just toast and coffee. I leave home at 7:30 and walk to the bus stop. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. I start work at 8:00. I’m a receptionist at a gym, so I answer emails, help visitors, and answer the phone. I have lunch at 1:00 p.m. with my coworkers in the small café across the street. I finish work at 4:30, go home, and sometimes stop at the supermarket. In the evening, I cook dinner, watch a series for an hour, and study English for thirty minutes. I go to bed around 10:30 p.m. On Saturdays, I visit my parents and go for a long walk in the park. On Sundays, I don’t work; I sleep in, clean the apartment a little, and read a book in the afternoon.
