A1 — Lesson 98: Regular past (affirmative)

Unidad 8: Pasado simple. En esta lección practicas el pasado simple con verbos regulares (walk → walked, visit → visited, play → played) en oraciones afirmativas. Todavía no usamos negaciones ni preguntas.

1️⃣ Explicación — pasado simple regular (-ed)

Estructura básica en afirmativo:
Sujeto + verbo en pasado (forma -ed) + complemento.
No usamos do/does/did en las afirmativas.

Frases modelo:
• Yesterday I worked in the morning.

• At night we watched a film and talked about school.

Expresiones de tiempo típicas: yesterday, last night, last weekend, last Monday, two days ago.

2️⃣ Grammar — Regular past: affirmative

Elige la opción correcta con el verbo en pasada regular. Solo oraciones afirmativas.

3️⃣ Reading — Last Saturday

Lee el texto con verbos regulares en pasado y responde las preguntas de comprensión.

Last Saturday was a busy day for me. In the morning I visited my aunt and uncle. We walked to a small park near their house and played with their dog. At noon we cooked pasta together and talked about school. In the afternoon we watched a funny movie and laughed a lot. In the evening I returned home and studied English for one hour. I enjoyed the day because I spent time with my family.

4️⃣ Writing — Your last weekend

Escribe 4–6 oraciones sobre tu último fin de semana usando solo verbos regulares en pasado: played, watched, visited, cleaned, studied, cooked, walked, etc. (Práctica libre, sin calificación automática.)

Modelo:

• Last weekend I visited my grandparents.
• On Saturday I played football with my friends.
• We watched a movie and cooked dinner together.
• On Sunday I cleaned my room and studied English.

En la Lesson 99 verás la ortografía y pronunciación de -ed (t / d / ɪd). Aquí solo nos interesa la forma afirmativa correcta.
